The Cultural Council of Greater Jacksonville is presenting State of the Arts 2018 – a regional art and cultural conference. The day-long event is scheduled for Thursday, Sept. 13, and will be held in Jacksonville’s Cathedral District.

This year’s keynote is Barbara Goldstein​. For more than 30 years, Goldstein has specialized in the field of public art planning and creative placemaking.  She is dedicated to creating and sustaining public spaces that engage communities through art and cultural events that promote healthy, flourishing, and equitable communities.
