Sawgrass Marriott Golf Resort & Spa recently announced it has hired Jason Heath as director of sales and marketing for the resort hotel.  This is a key position that directs the resort’s public relations efforts along with its award-winning group sales, vacation planning, meeting planning, catering and golf.

Heath has more than 18 years of sales and marketing experience in the hotel and resort industries throughout the Southeastern United States. Prior to joining Sawgrass Marriott Golf Resort & Spa, Heath spent 10 years with Starwood Hotels and Resorts at properties including the Westin Atlanta North and the Westin Resort Hilton Head Island.
