Sisler Johnston Designing The Matanzas Club at Riverwood at Nocatee

September 22nd, 2010 · Leave a Comment

We have some great news to report about Sisler Johnston Interior Design and Riverwood at Nocatee. The Jacksonville interior design firm has been awarded the contract to provide the interior design for The Matanzas Club, the new resident amenities center at Riverwood at Nocatee in Ponte Vedra, an active-adult community by Del Webb.

Sisler Johnston Interior Design specializes in marketable designs for senior lifestyle communities.  Judith Sisler Johnston, allied member, ASID, and president of Sisler Johnston Interior Design, had this to say about the project.

“We are developing an interior design for the new residents’ club that is inviting and reflects the coastal lifestyle offered at Riverwood.  Del Webb communities provide the very best amenities and lifestyle offerings to their residents.”

Sisler Johnston’s design for The Matanzas Club exhibits a coastal Santa Barbara Mediterranean-style and will include finishes, appointments, architectural details, lighting and furnishings. Natural stone flooring, custom-patterned carpets, custom window treatments and oversized lighting are among the design details planned for the 37,000-square-foot facility.

The Matanzas Club will offer a fully staffed, state-of-the-art amenities center for residents at Riverwood at Nocatee. It will include a fitness center, social café and library, arts and crafts area, grand ballroom and stage, indoor pool, spa, steam room and sauna.

The project is expected to be complete by next spring. We are looking forward to seeing the results!
