Sisler Johnston Interior Design Completes Redesign of Coleman Center at Fleet Landing

February 22nd, 2012 · Leave a Comment

The Coleman Center at Fleet Landing in Atlantic Beach has a new look, thanks to Sisler Johnston Interior Design. The Jacksonville interior design firm recently completed the renovation and expansion redesign of the community amenity center.

“Fleet Landing is continually updating and enhancing its amenities and services so that residents enjoy a world-class lifestyle,” said Judith Sisler Johnston, president of Sisler Johnston Interior Design and allied member, ASID. “The expansion provides added activity spaces in the Coleman Center, which is a great benefit to everyone at Fleet Landing.”

The Coleman Center provides a lively environment for residents and visitors, and houses numerous community amenities at Fleet Landing. The latest renovation, covering more than 2,000-square-feet, features a new multi-purpose room, a beautifully appointed expanded lounge and billiards area, new community mailroom, offices and restrooms. Sisler Johnston also selected new carpeting for the Coleman Center library.

Using a color palette of evergreen, goldenrod, crimson and warm neutrals, Sisler Johnston replicated the materials and finishes in the newly renovated areas to complement the design and ambiance showcased in the other areas. In addition to the color palette, Sisler Johnston incorporated columns, wood and other finishes to blend seamlessly with the Coleman Center’s existing design.

Sisler Johnston Interior Design has worked with Fleet Landing for many years on its design master plan and served as part of the professional design team when the Coleman Center was redesigned five years ago.  We’ll keep you posted on their next project.
