Sisler Johnston to Redesign Leeward Manor

August 10th, 2010 · Leave a Comment

We have some great news to report about Sisler Johnston Interior Design and Fleet Landing. The Jacksonville interior design firm, which specializes in marketable designs for active adult and continuing care senior lifestyle communities, has been awarded the contract to redesign Leeward Manor, the assisted living center at the retirement community in Atlantic Beach.

Judith Sisler Johnston, ASID allied member and president of Sisler Johnston Interior Design, was Leeward Manor’s original designer when it opened 14 years ago. The project will be a complete facelift from floor to ceiling and the changes will make the environment even more inviting for residents and visitors.

When complete, Leeward Manor will be more decorative and functional for residents. Sisler Johnston Interior Design will be refreshing the design elements in the facility’s common areas including the community dining room, activity area, library and resident lounge areas. She has selected a rich Mediterranean color palette and custom commercial grade products that resemble items found in upscale residential interiors.

The redesign will include new carpeting, new wallcoverings, new ceiling tiles including decorative acoustical ceiling tiles and wood panel ceiling tiles, window treatments, new furnishings, and lighting.  The project is expected to be complete by the end of the year. We are looking forward to seeing the result!
