Solar Panels Help Power Homes at Madeira at St. Augustine

February 24th, 2015 · Leave a Comment

Homeowners at Madeira at St. Augustine can look forward to energy savings as a result of one of Madeira’s standard features—solar panels.

“We are proud to be the only homebuilder in Northeast Florida to include solar panels in our new homes,” said Victoria Robbins, exclusive agent for elacora Northeast Florida. “The panels harness Florida’s abundant sunshine to reduce electric bills. In addition, homeowners are eligible for a federal tax credit in the year of purchase.”

Homes at Madeira at St. Augustine include solar panels to harness energy from the Florida sun. Homeowners realize reduced electric bills while enjoying well-designed homes and the Residents’ Club, Madeira’s new clubhouse with a large pool, fitness center and expansive outdoor gathering area.

In addition to the solar package, elacora’s homes are built with 2X6 construction, a radiant barrier, tankless Ranai gas water heater, and Low-e/double glazed windows.

Ron and Evelyn Horton chose a home in Madeira when they relocated from Montana.

“The solar panels and other energy-efficient features of these homes made our decision an easy one,” explained Evelyn Horton. “We are already seeing lower electric bills than we expected. These features along with the quality construction, open floor plan and convenient location convinced us to buy our new home in Madeira.”

“Elacora’s homes in Madeira at St. Augustine offer distinctive floor plans, a convenient location and use of the new Residents’ Club,” said Robbins. “Homes are priced from the mid $200s and range from 1,767 square feet to 2,962 square feet and several homes are now available for move-in. Elacora is currently offering a choice of incentives: seller paid closing costs, $5,000 prepayment of CDD fees or a $5,000 Design Center allowance. Move-in ready homes have an additional incentive of $3,000.”

The community is located on U.S. 1 in northern St. Augustine on more than 1,000 acres of green space in a lush natural environment.

The sales office is open daily 10 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Monday through Saturday and 1 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. on Sunday. For more information, call (904) 484-9024 or visit www.elacora.com.
