The St. Augustine Aquarium, Snorkel Adventure is officially open and is located at 2045 State Road 16. The first phase consists of an 80,000-gallon Snorkel Adventure, an interactive Shark & Stingray Cove, seahorse and hands-on habitats.

Join for a day of interaction with some of Florida’s most beautiful marine species and enjoy shark, stingray and fish feeding. For the adventurous, snorkel up close and personal with sea life in a natural reef environment.

You can even adopt an animal, such as a seahorse, octopus, stingray, or shark. One of their best-selling animals to adopt is the seahorse. For $15 you will receive a downloadable adoption certificate and a species description photo. Your donation will provide fish-care services, food, equipment, and supplies.

The second phase of their construction will add more marine conservation habitats for sharks, stingrays, eels, barracuda, octopus, jellyfish and reef fish.

For more information and to buy tickets, click here. Admission for adults is $8 and $5 for children. The hours of operation are 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., seven days a week. The aquarium is located at 2045 State Road 16, St. Augustine, Florida 32084. The phone number is 904-429-9777.
