JAXUSA Partnership, a division of the JAX Chamber, welcomed BI-LO and Winn-Dixie Stores Inc. President and CEO Randall Onstead as its keynote speaker today at its quarterly luncheon at the Hyatt Regency Jacksonville Riverfront. Onstead told a crowd of approximately 500 people about the merger of Winn-Dixie and BI-LO supermarkets; the merged company’s plans for future growth; and how he believes the Jacksonville area is well-positioned for future growth.

JAX Chamber Board members declared it’s “a new day” when they introduced Daniel Davis as the new president and CEO of the largest business membership organization in Northeast Florida. Representing the rebirth of the organization, the announcement occurred in front of the Downtown Chamber building, which is undergoing extensive renovations. Davis officially assumes the role July 1, 2013.
