Old San Jose on the River Wins Two Parade of Homes Awards

The popular riverfront community of Old San Jose on the River has been recognized by the Northeast Florida Builders Association (NEFBA) with two Parade of Homes awards for new home excellence. The community’s builder, New Leaf Construction, Inc., and architect, BSB Design–Jacksonville, received a gold award for the Halstead condominium model and a silver award for the Avondale single-family home model. The Parade of Homes honors the best in new home construction in Northeast Florida.

Ocean’s Edge Experiencing Impressive Sales Success

The sales success continues at Ocean’s Edge in South Jacksonville Beach, one of the best-performing condominium communities in Northeast Florida. In 2012, Ocean’s Edge achieved 50 condominium sales for more than $10.3 million in sales volume. Of all the condominiums sold in 2012 in the beaches market of Atlantic Beach, Neptune Beach, Jacksonville Beach and Ponte Vedra Beach, Ocean’s Edge garnered a 57 percent market share for condominiums priced $160,000 to $275,000, according to Northeast Florida Multiple Listing Services (MLS) data.

The riverfront community on San Jose Boulevard near Jacksonville’s historic San Marco neighborhood is outperforming all communities in Duval County. Take a look at a recent report from MarketGraphics® Research Group, a firm that provides new home market research information to builders, developers, banks, city governments and others. In August 2012, MarketGraphics® reported new home closings totaled more than $11 million in Duval County. During the same time period, the sales team at Old San Jose on the River reported $5.2 million in sales.
