Tamaya “Designers on Parade” Event Draws Hundreds to the New Mediterranean-style Community in Jacksonville

June 5th, 2014 · Leave a Comment

ICI Homes of Tamaya, developers of a master-planned community between Downtown and the Beaches, drew more than 500 to the community recently for “Designers on Parade,” a weekend event showcasing its homes’ interior designers and their work.

Launched after Northeast Florida Builders Association’s Parade of Homes, the event gave prospective homebuyers and real estate professionals a chance to meet the designers responsible for the interior decorating of the eight model homes in the community.

The four interior designers answered questions, shared tips, and discussed many of the latest design ideas. The designers are Judith Sisler Johnston, president, allied member ASID, Sisler Johnston Interior Design, Jacksonville; Anne Carol, owner/designer, Design South of Ponte Vedra, Ponte Vedra Beach; Beth Lewis, ASID, Everyday Elegance Interiors, Jacksonville; and Rita Williams, principal, Merchandising Plus, St. Johns.

Visitors also were given the chance to rate the homes and interior design selections. All voters will be entered for a chance to win a 3-day, 2-night stay at Lighthouse Key Resort & Spa in Kissimmee.
