Amelia National Tennis Club will celebrate its grand opening April 16-18 at Amelia National Golf & Country Club

Amelia National Tennis Club, located at the ICI Homes community of Amelia National Golf & Country Club, will celebrate a grand opening for its new state-of-the-art tennis center beginning Thursday, April 16, through Saturday, April 18. Special guest Mats Velander, a formerly-ranked No. 1 tennis professional, will be in attendance and invites everyone to visit the facility and learn about membership opportunities. Amelia National Golf & Country Club was built and developed by ICI Homes.

“Amelia National is the only true full-service country club from Georgia to Jacksonville that provides its members with golf and tennis amenities, professionals, and pro shops for each,” said Amelia National Tennis Club owner and director Joe Mattingly. “We encourage visitors to our club to learn more.”

The recently-completed $1 million state-of-the-art Amelia National Tennis Club boasts eight clay championship-quality Har-Tru courts where athletes can enjoy the facilities during the day or play under the court lights in the evening. Each tennis court features PlaySight technology, an after-action review system that provides real-time and after-action review with complete debriefing solutions, auto stats, bio-mechanical analysis and 3D tactical game management. While athletes are at play, their activity and motions are recorded and analyzed, providing ultramodern individualized coaching.

Amelia National Tennis Club also features a newly constructed 1,200 square-foot pro shop and clubhouse, where multiple tennis professionals will be onsite daily, led by Mattingly. The pro shop features a customized racquet center for members to utilize and name brand clothing and accessories are available for purchase. In addition to hosting weekly socials for its members, Amelia National will present special events and tournaments for all ages throughout the year, ranging from singles, doubles, mixed doubles, parent, child and charity tournaments. Memberships are available to both nonresidents and residents of Amelia National.
