The McKenzie Noelle Wilson Foundation Kid Zone

THE PLAYERS is a great place for the whole family to have some fun, but they do realize the need for a place to let the kids blow off a little steam away from the “quiet please” signs! The McKenzie Noelle Wilson Foundation Kid Zone provides a family-friendly, public venue that includes fun and games for the kids, youth-oriented food for purchase and a videoboard to keep up with all the tournament action.

Kids will love the ultimate “GameTruck,” a mobile, video-game theater equipped with HDTVs and a wide selection of games for Xbox360, Wii, PlayStation3, as well as a GameCoach who manages the activities so parents can relax. The Kid Zone also offers a putt-putt course, arts and crafts, face-painting and an inflatable obstacle course. Located at the end of the Nicklaus Gate walkway, the Kid Zone features a restroom trailer, videoboards, a misting tent where everyone can cool down and kid-friendly food options.

Please note, this is not a daycare area and parents are required to stay with their children. However, it allows parents the ability to take a break and relax in the shade while the kids have some fun.

THE PLAYERS is highlighting The McKenzie Noelle Wilson Foundation to bring awareness to this local organization’s mission and message.  The Foundation was established in memory of McKenzie Wilson, a local 15-year-old student at Bolles who passed away in 2010 from a rare and sudden illness. The Foundation is dedicated to helping young people find their purpose in an increasingly complex and challenging world.  Youth development programs such as McKenzie Cares, McKenzie Gives and McKenzie Grows, as well as local and global outreach are helping young people recognize their full potential by caring for others, giving to those in need, and growing in their own spirituality.

THE PLAYERS returns to THE PLAYERS Stadium Course at TPC Sawgrass, May 6 through May 12.
