The Monique Burr Foundation for Children announces “A Night at Roy’s,” its annual fundraiser.Enjoy delicious Hawaiian-influenced cuisine prepared by world-renowned chef Roy Yamaguchi, tropical libations, fine wines, live music, and a live and silent auction.

The event is Tuesday, April 30, 2019, from 6–9 p.m., at Roy’s Restaurant, located in the Third Street Village Shopping Plaza, 2400 3rd Street South in Jacksonville Beach.

The Monique Burr Foundation for Children’s core mission is to protect children. Research shows that 95 percent of abuse is preventable through education. The foundation created MBF Prevention Education Programs: MBF Child Safety Matters®, MBF Teen Safety Matters® and MBF Athlete Safety Matters™, a series of primary prevention education programs for children and youth in grades K-8.

The foundation’s evidence-based/evidence-informed programs are practical and were created in consultation with national experts in the prevention and education fields. They address the most common types of victimization experienced by children and teens, including bullying, cyberbullying, child abuse (sexual, physical, emotional, and neglect), relationship abuse, exploitation, and digital dangers. Learn more at MBFPreventionEducation.org.

Tickets are $100 (charitable donation is $55). To purchase tickets or for more information, visit ANightatRoys.com.

Funds raised at “A Night at Roy’s” will help the Monique Burr Foundation for Children in its efforts to teach children and teens how to keep themselves safe from bullying, cyberbullying, child abuse (sexual, physical, emotional, and neglect) and digital dangers through its MBF Prevention Education Programs.
