On Wednesday, the PGA Tour Wives Association (PTWA) and THE PLAYERS hosted children and families from Wolfson Children’s Hospital and Community PedsCare for a fun-filled, Hawaiian-themed morning at the Stadium Village. Approximately 50 families attended the event, which included activities like arts and crafts, face painting and a visit from zoo animals courtesy of the Jacksonville Zoo. During the event, THE PLAYERS presented Community PedsCare with a check for $30,000.

This is the fifth year the PTWA has hosted an event for the children and their families at Stadium Village. The PTWA was incorporated in 1988 by wives of professional golfers on the PGA TOUR. Since its inception, the association has raised more than $5 million through its charitable events and volunteer service projects.

Tabitha Furyk, wife of golfer Jim Furyk, acted as chairperson of the event on behalf of the PTWA.
