The Women’s Board of Wolfson Children’s Hospital Announces 2020 Art & Antiques Show

The Women’s Board of Wolfson Children’s Hospital proudly announces the 44th annual Art & Antiques Show benefiting Wolfson Children’s Hospital of Jacksonville will be an online experience, accessible from any mobile device or computer.

Virtually Venice will premiere at 10 a.m. on Friday, Dec. 4, and be available for viewing from Friday, Dec. 4, to Thursday, Dec. 10, 2020. The link to the show is: www.youtube.com/channel/UCQgeU9iEfMz1o38G6p1hCCQ/live.

The one-of-a-kind online event features internationally known interior designers and antiques experts, local culinary talent and inspiration for entertaining at home. Presenters include interior designers Charles Chewning, Elaine Griffin, Katie Ridder, Sean Scherer and Tara Shaw; Flower Magazine Founder Margot Shaw; internationally known landscape designer P. Allen Smith, and events planner Rebecca S. Gardner.

Venetian fare demonstrations include Chef Liz Grenamyer of Catering by Liz and Bottega by Liz Grenamyer; Steve Kunz of The Brick Restaurant; Chef Kevin Adams of SAVOR Jacksonville; Chef Rebecca Reed, Corporate Pastry Chef at Black Sheep Restaurant Group and recent champion of the Food Network’s Chopped Sweets culinary competition; and Chef Jamey Evoniuk of Chef’s Garden Catering & Events.

Special features include virtual tours of the Jacksonville- and Nantucket-based 1939 wooden yacht, Innisfail, and an iconic 1920s-era marble home in Jacksonville’s Avondale neighborhood.

The grand finale and heart of the annual Art & Antiques Show features 27 current and former Wolfson Children’s patients who show their style and personalities on the red carpet during the 2020 Children’s Fashion Show, Amore. The program will include an insider tour of the pediatric Critical Care Tower under construction with Wolfson Children’s Hospital President Michael Aubin, FACHE.

The Chairs for the 2020 Art & Antiques Show are Meg Phillips Folds, Drew Brundick Haramis and Julie Howard Howerton.

Funds raised from the 2020 Art & Antiques Show will support a $4 million gift to endow programs, services and equipment for a state-of-the-art Neonatal Intensive Care Center, currently under construction as part of the new Critical Care Tower at Baptist Medical Center in downtown Jacksonville. The new Tower is expected to open in February 2022. Since 1973, The Women’s Board of Wolfson Children’s has raised $34 million for Wolfson Children’s Hospital to support behavioral health, minimally invasive surgery, the bone marrow transplant unit and other critical needs.
