The Women’s Board of Wolfson Children’s Hospital announces 2022 Winter Design Show

The Women’s Board of Wolfson Children’s Hospital, celebrating its 50th anniversary, announces details for its 2022 Winter Design Show: Flaunting the First Coast, taking place Dec. 2-4, 2022, at the Prime Osborne Center. The event will feature more than 45 exhibitors, including decorator showrooms, art exhibits, antique dealers, and decor retailers. Nationally recognized and celebrity lecturers will also return along with timeless signature events such as the Opening Night Gala and Children’s Fashion Show featuring current and former Wolfson patients. 

This year’s lecturers will each incorporate mental health and wellbeing topics into their sessions:

  • Ty Pennington, Emmy Award-winning television host, designer, carpenter, and author is proud to call the First Coast home and will focus his presentation on sustainable design and construction while featuring his St. Augustine, Florida home.
  • Dr. Jennifer Arnold, neonatologist, and co-star of TLC’s ‘The Little Couple,’ will speak about overcoming obstacles with optimism and focus on her work as a neonatologist.
  • Dr. Gary Josephson, Chief Medical Officer at Nemours and author of ‘Ordinary to Extraordinary: Seven Principles for Life Success,’ will share enlightening facts and figures followed by seven evergreen foundational principles that offer motivation and enthusiasm to overcome adversity and enjoy prosperity.
  • Janie Molster, author of ‘House Dressing: Interiors for Colorful Living,’and acclaimed Southern designer based in Richmond, Virginia will reveal the secret behind her unique ability to craft dreamy interiors and share down-to-earth advice for creating beautiful and personal spaces.

Local interior designer and Event Creative Director Fitz Pullins is the visionary behind the “Flaunting the First Coast” theme. Attendees will be able to journey through the distinct and diverse personalities of the First Coast’s neighborhoods.

The new world-class Neonatal Intensive Care Center in the Borowy Family Children’s Critical Care Tower at the Wolfson Children’s Hospital opened its doors in February 2022. The Winter Design show raises funds for an endowment that will help provide for programs, equipment, and services for the new Neonatal Center. Proceeds will be matched 150% by Baptist Health.

The Show, chaired by Kymberly Wolfson, Heather Creel, and Kristina Powell, will take place at The Prime F. Osborn III Convention Center and continues to welcome exhibitors and sponsors.
