TrailMark is hosting Conquer the Trails, on Saturday, Feb. 24.

The 5K will start and finish at the TrailMark Welcome Center, winding through the community’s paved and natural trails along the way. The event is open to the public.

Pre-race festivities begin at 8:30 a.m. The race starts at 9 a.m. The race will be timed and scored by JTF electronic bib tag. Awards will be presented in multiple race categories. Big Island Bowls food truck and Ancient City Brewery will be on-site to help celebrate the inaugural race.

Early race registration is $25 until Jan. 31, 2018; $30 from Feb. 1-23, 2018. Race day registration is $35. All racers who pre-register will receive a shirt and swag bag. Racers who sign up before Feb. 1 will also receive a sports bottle.

TrailMark is a unique community in northern St Johns County, combining the best of neighborhood living with a nature-first approach, with miles of trails, parkland, wetlands and oak groves.

Proceeds will be donated to Haven Horse Ranch, a 501c3 nonprofit organization. Based in St. Augustine, Haven Horse Ranch is a working horse ranch and a licensed Spirit Horse Equine Assisted Healthcare Center, which uses horses to teach children basic life’s principles and Christian values.

To visit TrailMark, from I-95, take exit #323/International Golf Parkway southwest towards World Golf Village and travel approximately 2.2 miles. Continue past the intersection at State Road 16 (where International Golf Parkway becomes Pacetti Road) and proceed approximately 2.6 miles to TrailMark on the right.
