Two Day Countdown for “A Night in the Village” Hosted by Roy’s to Benefit the Monique Burr Foundation for Children

April 27th, 2010 · Leave a Comment

The countdown is on! Only two days remain until one of Jacksonville Beach’s favorite events – “A Night in the Village” hosted by Roy’s Restaurant.

The April 29 event benefits the Monique Burr Foundation for Children and includes a fun night of contemporary Hawaiian cuisine, tropical wines and drinks, live entertainment, auctions and a fantastic fashion show. This year’s must-attend event will take place at 6 p.m. on Thursday, April 29, at Roy’s Restaurant and participating businesses at Third Street Village in Jacksonville Beach. If last year’s party is any indication, this fundraiser will draw the city’s finest celebrities, business executives and young professionals.

The annual celebration and fundraiser will inspire guests with Hawaiian fusion culinary dishes from founder and Chef Roy Yamaguchi and additional celebrity chefs. Fabulous fine wines and tropical drinks will flow while guests enjoy live entertainment throughout the evening, including hula dancing, fire dancing, music and exclusive shopping opportunities at select boutiques in Third Street Village.

Tickets to last year’s event sold out, so you will want to purchase yours in advance. Tickets are $75 per person and there is limited space, so call Lynn Layton at (904) 642-0210 today to make your reservations. More information is also available on Facebook.com by searching for the Monique Burr Foundation for Children, following the foundation on Twitter @MBFjax or by visiting www.moniqueburrfoundation.org.
