Looking for something to do this weekend? Why not run for sustainability! The USGBC of North Florida is hosting a 5k Run for Sustainability Saturday, June 18 at the University of  North Florida. Runners, joggers and walkers are welcome to participate as well as corporate or group teams!.

In addition to the run, donations of used running and casual shoes will be collected during the event to be distributed to local homeless shelters after the event. The event will also feature educational booths with a focus on sustainabilty and environmental friendliness. All race participants will recieve a free organic t-shirt!

Registration & Race Information:

• Register: 1st Place Sports stores or www.1stplacesports.com/green.html
• Location: UNF Student Union — 1 UNF Drive, Jacksonville, FL 32224
• Time: Race starts promptly at 8 a.m.  Plan to arrive early!
• Cost: $15 for students with student ID, $25 if purchased the week before (6/11-6/17) and $30 if purchased the day of the race. There will also be a 1 Mile Fun Run  for $10.00
