VyStar Credit Union is spreading cheer this holiday season with a special performance from one of today’s most uniquely talented live entertainers.

VyStar presents “Jason Woods’ A Christmas Carol,” a one-man holiday storytelling experience, will take place Wednesday, Dec. 22, outside of the VyStar Tower at 76 S. Laura St. in downtown Jacksonville. The performance will be held from 6 to 7:30 p.m. and is free and open to the community.

Woods, a director, actor, composer and writer, has been producing independent theatre for the last decade. He recently performed in the United Solo International Theatre Festival in New York City, where he was awarded Best Actor. As part of his upcoming performance, Woods will recount the story of Ebenezer Scrooge and transform into many different characters as he shares his version of the Charles Dickens classic.

Guests are encouraged to bring blankets and chairs for the performance. Hot chocolate will be provided by VyStar while supplies last. Other food and beverages will be available for purchase at nearby restaurants. For more information about the performance, please visit VyStar’s Facebook page.
