Mark your calendars for Thursday, Jan. 5. The JAX Chamber and Building America’s Future Educational Fund are co-hosting a forum on Jacksonville’s transportation infrastructure you won’t want to miss. The forum is scheduled to run from 8 to 10 a.m. at the Hyatt Regency Jacksonville Riverfront.
The forum will examine the importance of investing in infrastructure improvements and its regional and national impact on the economy, job growth and quality of life. Former Pennsylvania Gov. Ed Rendell, co-chair of Building America’s Future Educational Fund, is the keynote speaker.
It will also include a discussion about local, state and federal transportation infrastructure challenges. Panelists include JAXPORT CEO Paul Anderson, Jacksonville Transportation Authority CEO Michael Blaylock, and Jacksonville Aviation Authority CEO and Executive Director Steve Grossman. Florida Rep. Lake Ray is the moderator for the panel.
