The popular waterfront community of Old San Jose on the River won three Aurora Awards including a Grand Aurora Award, the top award in its category, for the community’s site planning and infill development. Old San Jose on the River also won an Aurora Award honoring its single-level condominium home design. The Aurora Awards is a design competition of the Southeast Building Conference recognizing building design excellence and honoring projects in 12 southeastern states and the Caribbean.

“It is a great honor to receive these awards for Old San Jose on the River,” said Victoria “Vikki” Robbins of Victoria Robbins Realty, Inc., the real estate company responsible for sales at Old San Jose. “Our team has worked diligently to create an exceptional community with luxurious appeal.”

In addition to Victoria Robbins Realty, the team at Old San Jose on the River includes Maier Development Solutions, BSB Design, New Leaf Construction, Inc., Dominion Engineering Group, Inc., Prosser Hallock, Barbara Ondo Designs and Jacob Sharp Photo.

The design of Old San Jose on the River combines exquisite architectural detailing, lush landscaping and five-star amenities to complement the natural beauty of its riverfront setting. The community’s magnificent streetscape of exceptional quality condominium and single-family homes is surrounded by meticulously maintained gardens and the ultimate in understated luxury amenities including private, convenient access to the St. Johns River via a Riverfront Promenade and a boating day dock exclusively for residents’ use. Old San Jose on the River’s stunning Mediterranean-style amenity center features a fire pit, outdoor kitchen and swimming pool, along with a fitness center and clubhouse. A gated entrance assures the privacy of all residents.

Old San Jose on the River was also honored for the design of the Halstead condominium in the Attached for Sale Home $300,001-$500,000 division. The community’s single-level condominium homes offer the size, comfort and features of a single-family home but with the ease of a low-maintenance condominium lifestyle.

Designed by BSB Design – Jacksonville, the single-level condos are housed in low-rise buildings holding three units, including one lower level and two upper level residences, ranging in size from 1,967 square feet to 2,075 square feet, and designed with individual entrances, generous storage and abundant natural light. Every residence offers direct access to an attached two-car garage. The designs feature the firm’s New American Spaces™, with an open and airy design that connects the kitchen, living and dining spaces together for family living and entertaining. Each kitchen has a large island that overlooks the living and dining areas and is the social focal point of the home.

The master suites feature luxurious bathrooms with dual vanities, separate tub and walk-in shower, and large walk-in closets. The secondary bedrooms, which are designed away from the master, also feature walk-in closets. The first floor condominiums offer an expansive lanai and the second story residences include a large balcony and a private elevator. There is a designer-decorated condominium model home available for visitors to tour. Pricing for the condominium homes starts at $370,900.
