Northeast Florida’s April Real Estate Wrap-Up

April 2019 housing market reports for Northeast Florida are now available from the Northeast Florida Association of Realtors on NEFAR.com. Except where otherwise indicated, statistics reflect combined results for single-family residential and condominium properties.

April was a busy month for real estate activity in Northeast Florida, with 2,889 homes being sold. This figure is a 6.5 percent uptick from a year ago, and the largest number of monthly sales since August 2018. There were also 3,171 pending sales; those on which a contract has been written but did not close. The pending sales activity was a 5.8 percent increase from a year ago. [Read more →]

Girl Scouts of Gateway Council’s Cookie Program Results in Nearly $1 Million Local Economic Impact

Girl Scouts of Gateway Council (GSGC) successfully completed the 2019 Girl Scout Cookie program season, setting a new record for Girl Scout cookie sales in the Northeast and North Central Florida region.

In 2019, Gateway Council Girl Scouts sold 1,290,964 boxes of Girl Scout Cookies. The result is nearly a $1 Million economic impact in North and Central Florida communities with 100 hundred percent of the proceeds girls raise through cookie sales funding programs for girls, community service projects and the local Girl Scout council.
