July 1st, 2011 · Leave a Comment

Urban Land Institute (ULI) North Florida announced today that Jacksonville real estate executive Peter Rummell has been named ULI Chairman for a two-year term that runs through June 2013. In his new role, Rummell will oversee worldwide operations of ULI and its 30,000 members. He will work to expand the impact and influence of ULI on the land use industry in a post-recession environment, and further the institute’s global mission of responsible land use and the built environment. Rummell, a longtime ULI trustee and former chairman of the ULI Foundation, brings more than 40 years of experience in the development industry to the position.

The ULI North Florida Governance Committee has chosen Bruce Johnson, executive vice president and chief financial officer of Regency Centers, as its District Council Chair for 2011-2013. Effective July 1, Johnson will provide overall strategic leadership for the North Florida District Council and its volunteers. Johnson currently serves on the ULI North Florida Advisory Board and has been active in the organization on both local and national levels for many years.
