Phoenix Products has announced plans for a significant expansion that will see the company relocate from its current 89,000 square-foot facility to a new 231,000 square-foot state-of-the-art manufacturing facility at 1511 Zoo Parkway Building 600, Jacksonville, FL 32218.
The ambitious expansion project represents a pivotal moment in Phoenix Products’ growth trajectory, with construction scheduled to begin in June 2025 and completion expected by May 2026. The Jacksonville City Council unanimously approved the economic development agreement on Tuesday under the code name Project Rotunda.
“We’re thrilled about the move,” said Cliff Mills, Vice President, General Manager of Phoenix Products. “This new facility marks a pivotal moment for us, enabling substantial growth and enhanced capabilities.”
The expansion will deliver transformative results for the company’s operations and workforce
Production Enhancement: Phoenix Products plans to implement multiple new production lines, achieving a remarkable 400 percent increase in manufacturing output capacity.
Workforce Growth: The company will increase its workforce from 150 to 270 employees, creating at least 120 new jobs in Jacksonville. Key positions in demand include welders, electricians, project managers, and engineers, reflecting Phoenix Products’ commitment to attracting top talent across multiple disciplines.
Strategic Location Decision: After carefully evaluating potential locations for the expanded operations, Phoenix Products made the strategic decision to remain in Jacksonville. “After considering the best location for our facilities, we are thrilled to have developed a solid plan to remain in Jacksonville and further build on our current talent pool,” Mills noted.
“This move isn’t just about bricks and mortar,” Mills said. “It’s about investing in our future, expanding our capabilities, and continuing to deliver excellence in everything we do.”
