Prudential Network Realty sales professionals Dennis and Kathy Lang, a husband and wife team from the company’s Beaches office in Atlantic Beach, recently led Ocean Yoga’s 11th Annual New Year’s Day Yoga Benefit. The charity event raised $1,125 for Beaches Emergency Assistance Ministry (BEAM), a local nonprofit organization dedicated to supporting beaches families.

“We appreciate the ongoing support we have received from Ocean Yoga and the Langs,” said BEAM Executive Director Susan King. “Events like this are very impactful and often connect the dots for many people, providing an introduction to our organization, the services we offer and the need in our community.”

More than 40 yogis attended the New Year’s Day event, which featured live music by Jacksonville multi-instrumentalist virtuoso Arvid Smith.

“We are incredibly grateful to everyone who joined us at Ocean Yoga for this special practice and for supporting this wonderful cause,” said Dennis Lang. “We are honored to share our love of yoga and support BEAM, which provides exceptional services to our local community.”

Dennis and Kathy Lang are consistently top producing Realtors at Prudential Network Realty and recipients of the company’s Leading Edge Society award. Both are certified yoga instructors (RYT 200 and RYT 500) and ambassador alumni of Lululemon Athletica. The Langs have practiced yoga for more than 10 years and co-teach numerous classes and workshops including many charitable practices. They are passionate about sharing their love of yoga and its benefits with others, and like to use their yoga teaching and practice to benefit the community. The Langs believe the practice of yoga is a source of inspiration and transformation, providing collective energy and creativity in all areas of their lives including real estate.

“The generosity of Dennis and Kathy Lang is inspiring – they use their yoga talent and expertise to support and benefit the community at large in a very positive way,” said Christy Budnick, executive vice president of residential real estate, Prudential Network Realty. “Altruism is a guiding principle of our company and our professionals are very passionate about charitable giving and supporting the communities in which we live and work.”
