Site Work to Begin on $10-Million Amenity Center at Jacksonville Community of Tamaya

ICI Homes of Tamaya, developers of a master-planned community between Downtown and the Beaches, announced that site work will begin this fall on a $10-million amenity center at Tamaya.

The amenity center, which will include an 11,000-square-foot clubhouse, pools, and outdoor recreation, such as tennis and an event lawn, is now planned to include nearly 4,500 square feet of fitness area inside the clubhouse.

Site work will begin next month and will conclude in the fourth quarter on the amenity center for Tamaya – a Mediterranean-style community approved for as many as 2,400 homes off Beach Boulevard between Kernan and Hodges boulevards. Construction of the amenity center is scheduled to be completed in 2016.

Developers recently completed infrastructure and have exceeded sales goals for the first, 169-home neighborhood, Bella Nina, and they have begun design and permitting for the next, 146-home phase, Bella Nika.

“The community is taking shape, and we are very excited about the growth that is already beginning to occur at Tamaya,” said David Haas, chief development officer at ICI Homes of Tamaya.
