Teenager Receives Dream Trip to Swim with the Dolphins

December 24th, 2013 · Leave a Comment

A 17-year-old boy undergoing medical treatment for a life-threatening illness has received a “dream” trip to swim with the dolphins from Prudential Network Realty.

During a Dreams Come True Life Party for Tyler Harpe and his family at the company’s general sales meeting, the team presented gifts including a vacation package to the theme parks at Disney World and to Discovery Cove to swim with the dolphins.

Tyler was welcomed with a special “Kings” chair, cape and crown to view a video detailing his gifts. The company’s associates also showered the teen with a variety of gifts representing some of his favorite things including club seats to a Jacksonville Jaguars football game, cash, gift cards and snacks for the family’s road trip to Orlando. At the end, Prudential Network Realty Founder, President and CEO Linda H. Sherrer offered a cupcake toast to Tyler and his family.

“There is nothing more satisfying than the gift of giving back to our community,” said Sherrer. “Our associates are so inspired by Tyler’s positive attitude and determination, and we are happy we could make a small difference in his life.”

In celebration of its 25th anniversary, Prudential Network Realty is making a donation to Dreams Come True for every closed listing and sale. Since launching the campaign four months ago, the company has raised more than $11,000 toward its $25,000 minimum commitment.

“Everyone on our team has heart and is committed to community service,” said Christy Budnick, executive vice president of residential real estate, Prudential Network Realty. “We are honored to celebrate 25 wonderful years by supporting Dreams Come True and its mission to make a difference.”
