The Florida Theatre welcomes new members to its Board of Directors

The Florida Theatre Performing Arts Center recently welcomed four new members to its Board of Directors. Each member will serve a three-year term:

  • Carlo Fassi – Regular Voting Member of the Board of Directors,
  • Nancy Ruth Barber – Regular Voting Member of the Board of Directors,
  • Rachael Sellers – Regular Voting Member of the Board of Directors,
  • Paul Sarto – Ex Officio Voting Member of the Board of Directors, representing the Volunteer Ushers of the Florida Theatre.

Carlo Fassi is the Regional Manager for External Affairs and Economic Development for TECO Peoples Gas.  He currently covers the Southwest Florida service territory for the natural gas distribution utility.

Nancy Ruth Barber is the owner of two Jacksonville businesses.  She has been the owner of Breezy Coffee Shop in Jacksonville Beach for more than 13 years, and for 20 years she has also been the owner of Jacksonville Advertising Group.

Rachael Sellers is a CPA and the Senior Vice President of Finance of AMPORTS, Inc.  AMPORTS provides car manufacturers with a full suite of specialized vehicle processing services at 13 strategically located facilities in New York, Maryland, Florida, Texas, California, and Mexico.

Paul Sarto is the Owner of Excell Appraisals in Orange Park.  An experienced Residential Real Estate Appraiser, he is licensed in Florida, with over 30 years of experience.

The Florida Theatre is governed by a Board of Directors drawn from the community’s civic leadership, who volunteer to oversee the institution’s policies, governance, and finances.  There are currently 30 Board Members serving in this capacity.
