WG Pitts, an award-winning General Contracting, Architecture, Construction and Development Management firm, has teamed with North Florida Builders on the construction of Wicked Barley Brewing Co., a craft beer brewery, tasting room and restaurant in Jacksonville. The brewery is anticipated to open late summer 2016.
The Jacksonville brewery is located at 4100 Baymeadows Road, a half-mile east of San Jose Boulevard, overlooking Goodby’s Creek. The $ 1.65 million project features a 7,260-square-foot building on 2.33 acres. Approximately half of the building will house the brewery. The remaining space will be used for the brewery’s tasting room, restaurant, retail and office operations. Wicked Barley also will feature a biergarten, outdoor covered deck and dock for boat access.
“We are thrilled the Wicked Barley partners entrusted our firm to construct their brewery operation,” said WG Pitts President Will Pitts. “The new venture will be a key player in Northeast Florida’s growing craft brewing and culinary scene, providing a popular area destination and energizing the surrounding neighborhoods.”
