The Cultural Council of Greater Jacksonville is hosting a virtual extravaganza – combining videos, interactive streaming, interviews, award presentations and performances – for its 44th annual Arts Awards on Wednesday, Sept. 2.
This year’s theme, Bridges, will focus on the interconnectivity between the arts, business and the community as key to a thriving city. The virtual event, which is free and open to the public, begins at 7 p.m.
Host Tenikka Hughes of Action News Jax will be joined by co-host Al Emerick at the Jesse Ball DuPont Center. The program will be steamed live on the Cultural Council of Greater Jacksonville’s Facebook page.
