The Jacksonville Human Rights Commission will hold its Annual Fair Housing Symposium on Saturday, April 27, beginning at 9 a.m., at the Main Library’s Conference Center.
The theme for the event is “Building Better, Stronger and more Inclusive Communities” and is intended to provide best practices to neighborhoods on how to strengthen their organizations to make positive changes around crime prevention, advocating for neighborhood services and building partnership with nonprofit organizations and other agencies to assist their efforts. Experts will be available to answer questions.
Registration begins at 8 a.m. Child care services will be available. The Jacksonville Public Library is located at 303 N. Laura St. For more information, click here.
