Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices Florida Network Realty Founder and Chairman Linda Sherrer accepted the JAXUSA Industry Leader Award

Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices Florida Network Realty recently received the JAXUSA Partnership Industry Leader Award at the third quarter JAXUSA Partnership Luncheon. The award, presented quarterly, recognizes a company’s innovative work and growth in the region as well as their civic and charitable contributions to the community.

“We are honored and humbled to receive the JAXUSA Partnership Industry Leader Award, which is a testament to the dedication and commitment of our Realtors, employees and leadership team,” said Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices Florida Network Realty Founder and Chairman Linda Sherrer. “Our team is the best in the business and this achievement is a result of their service to the community and contributions to the company’s success.”

One of the most dynamic and respected real estate firms in Northeast Florida, Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices Florida Network Realty ranks as one of the Top 25 companies in the Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices network. Founded in 1988, the company has a team of more than 400 real estate professionals in nine offices throughout Northeast Florida. Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices Florida Network Realty operates a corporate relocation division, a new home and condominium sales division, Florida Network Property Management, Gibraltar Title Services, LLC and Prosperity Home Mortgage, LLC.

The company has a long-standing tradition of supporting the communities it serves and actively contributes to numerous charitable initiatives. Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices has an ongoing partnership with Dreams Come True and hosts an annual Backpack Challenge and Holiday Luminaria.

Over the past five years, the company has donated more than $175,000 to Dreams Come True, a nonprofit organization that grants dreams to children with life-threatening illnesses, by contributing a portion of proceeds from every completed home sale. Now in its 19th year, the Backpack Challenge has collected thousands of backpacks filled with school supplies for Northeast Florida children. In its second year, the company’s Holiday Luminaria raised more than $31,000 for local charities including Pine Castle, an organization that empowers adults with disabilities through opportunities to learn, work and connect.

“We are thankful to be in business with such dedicated, talented and passionate professionals,” said President and Chief Executive Officer Christy Budnick. “Our team loves to support initiatives that provide opportunities to make a positive difference in the lives of many local children and families in our communities. We are truly grateful to be surrounded by a team with such big hearts.”
