HCA Florida Memorial Hospital is proud to announce that Jean Crisostomo, BSN, RN, accepted the position of Assistant Chief Nursing Officer and started in her new role earlier this month.
Crisostomo is a 20-year colleague of HCA Healthcare. She started as a Patient Care Tech (PCT) on 2 North Tower in 2003 where she began her nursing career shortly after as a new graduate Registered Nurse in progressive care. In 2006, she took on the role of Charge Nurse in the Cath Lab/EP Lab and became the House Supervisor in 2013. She then joined HCA Specialty Hospital Jacksonville, where she rose from Nursing Operations Manager to Director of Nursing. Crisostomo returned to Memorial Hospital as Clinical Resource Director with HCA HealthTrust in 2016, and expanded her responsibilities with HealthTrust as the South Atlantic Division Support Clinical Resource Director in 2022.
Crisostomo will graduate from Jacksonville University with her Doctorate of Nursing Practice (DNP) in April, 2023. She is a Six Sigma Global Lean Healthcare Professional, certified in Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR), Emergency, and a recipient of the Great 100 Nurse Award in 2015. Crisostomo is a proud member of Phi Kappa Phi and the Florida Nurses Association Northeast Region. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of Phoenix, and her Associate Degree of Nursing from Florida Community College of Jacksonville.
