The City of Jacksonville Solid Waste Division will hold various household hazardous waste and electronic waste (e-waste) mobile collection events throughout the city from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.  The upcoming schedule for 2016 is as follows:

– Jan. 23 – Jacksonville Beach Public Works Department: 1460 Shetter Avenue, Jacksonville Beach
– Feb. 13 –Ed Austin Regional Park: 2450 Monument Road
– March 12 – Lonnie Miller Park: 7689 Price Lane
– March 26 –Blue Cypress Park: 4012 University Blvd. N.
– April 16 – Normandy Park: 1728 Lindsey Road
– May 14 – Jacksonville Beach Public Works Department: 1460 Shetter Avenue, Jacksonville Beach
– June 11 – Ed Austin Regional Park: 2450 Monument Road

Residents are encouraged to use a mobile collection or the Household Hazardous Waste Facility, 2675 Commonwealth Ave., for the recycling of electronic wastes. The HHW Facility is open Tuesday through Saturday, 8 a.m. until 5 p.m.
