Hundreds Celebrate the Opening of Greyhawk’s Amenity Center and Model Homes

August 7th, 2019 · Leave a Comment

More than 450 people reveled in summer festivities and fun at the grand opening celebration at GreyHawk, a new recreation-rich residential community in Clay County. Guests were among the first to tour the community’s newly completed amenity center and model homes.

“GreyHawk offers a state-of-the-art amenity center with lagoon entry pool and poolside fire pit, fully equipped fitness studio and The Roost, an open-air pavilion where residents can gather to create memories to last a lifetime,” said Mike Taylor, North Florida Regional President of GreenPointe Communities, the developer of GreyHawk. “Our community is designed for today’s active families.”

At what is sure to be the first of many exciting events to happen at GreyHawk, visitors savored fabulous food from What’s Smoking and Muzzi’s Madhouse food trucks, refreshed with Kona Ice and danced to live music by the TJ Brown Band. The little ones tried their hand at rock climbing, bungee jumping and sliding down the 24’ tropical water slide. As families explored the new GreyHawk amenity center, they discovered many places where neighbors can gather to meet new people and spend time with loved ones.

The Roost, the open-air pavilion, is a great place for birthday parties and happy hours. Whether socializing or relaxing, homeowners can find a variety of seating options under the pavilion or on the pool deck.

The state-of-the-art fitness center features high-tech training equipment, cardio machines and free weights. The amenity area also includes a children’s playground, tennis courts, a basketball court and an open playfield for a game of catch or pick-up soccer. GreyHawk families and their canine companions enjoy Central Bark, a fully enclosed, dog-friendly area for exercise and meet-and-greet time in the great outdoors.

GreyHawk’s homes are located in a naturally beautiful setting and many home sites feature preserve and lake views. GreyHawk’s premier builders, which include D.R. Horton, Lennar and Richmond American Homes, are offering single-family, one- and two-story homes ranging in size from approximately 1,600 square feet to more than 3,100 square feet and priced from the $200s to the $400s. GreyHawk has five newly opened models ready to tour and move-in ready showcase homes under construction.

GreyHawk is close to and currently zoned for top-rated schools in the Clay County School District including Discovery Oaks Elementary School, Oakleaf Junior High School and Oakleaf High School. Residents appreciate easy access to shopping, dining, business centers and recreation including Branan Field Wildlife and Environmental Area and Jennings State Forest.

“If you missed the grand opening, it’s not too late to see GreyHawk for yourself,” said GreenPointe Communities Marketing Director Gaynelle James. “Stop by for a tour of the model homes and the amenity center.”

GreyHawk is located at 1090 Oakleaf Plantation Parkway in Orange Park. The community is across from the Publix at Oakleaf Commons. For more information, visit www.LiveGreyHawk.com.
