It sounds impossible – 12 homes in six days – but that is exactly what HabiJax, in partnership with the Northeast Florida Builders Association (NEFBA), is doing in Jacksonville this week.

The two organizations, with the assistance of hundreds of volunteers, will construct and complete 12 homes by Friday in the New Town neighborhood located west of Downtown Jacksonville.

NEFBA will partner with local homebuilders and provide construction supervision and leadership during the project. The organization needs volunteers, both on and off the construction site. Interested volunteers can register online here.
