The JAX Chamber Foundation’s Jacksonville Women’s Business Center (JWBC) has been awarded Women’s Business Center of the Year by the U.S. Small Business Administration.
The award was presented at the 30th Annual Small Business Week Luncheon at the University of North Florida.
The JWBC provides resources, classes and networking opportunities with the goal of empowering women entrepreneurs in Northeast Florida to make educated decisions and grow their businesses.
Since opening in 2004, JWBC has worked with thousands of clients and is continuously looking at ways to bring this high-quality entrepreneurial education to more female business owners. Today, JWBC offers several online courses and has weekend classes to make the curriculum more accessible to more women.
