KayCo Roofing LLC, a state-licensed roofing contractor based in Orange Park, Fla., is hosting “Shingles for Heroes.”

This roofing giveaway is to honor local first responders and military members within KayCo Roofing’s service area. The winner of “Shingles for Heroes” will be announced on Veteran’s Day, Nov. 11, 2019, through social media outlets.

“I have always wanted to give back to the community like this, and we can make this dream a reality,” said Owner Clark Briggs, Jr. “Over the years, we have been able to contribute to little league teams, local school sponsorships, and now provide a roof to a hometown hero and community member. We hope that we can make this an annual event.”

As a community rich in military presence and history, Briggs says it is an honor and a privilege to give back to the men and women who tirelessly serve and protect our community. The “Shingles for Heroes” give away allows KayCo Roofing an opportunity to give back to a local “hometown hero” by providing a roof to a first responder or military member in need.
