The gracious entry to Madeira is recognizable from U.S. 1.
Madeira at St. Augustine features beautifully designed, energy efficient and low maintenance homes in a master-planned community with a gracious amenity center, the Residents’ Club.
Madeira’s homes, built by elacora, offer flex options. For example, the newly opened and decorated Capri model showcases an optional upstairs game room and a Florida basement. The model is a three-bedroom home featuring views of outdoor living from its bonus sun room.
The newly opened Capri model home at Madeira at St. Augustine has been furnished and decorated by Barbara Ondo Designs with the Florida homebuyer in mind. It includes the optional sunroom, 2nd floor game room and Florida basement.
“This model joins our other designer-decorated model home at Madeira and both are open and available for tours,” said Victoria Robbins, exclusive agent for elacora Northeast Florida. The interiors of the models, designed by Barbara Ondo Designs, showcase soft splashes of colors.
Ten homes are available for immediate move-in. The homes range from 1,767 to 2,484 square feet, feature three distinct elevation styles: Mediterranean, Tuscan and Spanish and are priced from the mid $200s.
“Our homes in Madeira are innovative and designed for the Florida lifestyle. Solar panels and concrete tile roofs are included features in all of our homes,” said Robbins. “And to kick off our sales effort at Madeira, we are offering a choice of buyer incentives: Seller paid closing costs, $5,000 prepayment of CDD fees or a $5,000 Design Center allowance. In addition, elacora homes in Madeira will include lawn maintenance and monitored security systems for 12 months after closing.”
elacora’s homes are energy efficient
Ron and Evelyn Horton chose a home in Madeira when they relocated from Montana in October. “The solar panels and the other energy-efficient features of these homes made our decision an easy one,” explained Evelyn Horton. “We are already seeing lower electric bills than we expected. That fact, combined with the quality construction, open floor plan and convenient location convinced us that we had found our new home in Madeira.”
In addition to the standard starter solar package, elacora’s homes are built with 2X6 construction, a radiant barrier, tankless Ranai gas water heater, and Low-e/double glazed windows.
“The 2X6 construction is unusual in a home in this price range and provides additional space for the blown cellulose insulation,” explained Chris Arsenault, on-site sales. “Combined with the radiant barrier, a roof sheathing product which minimizes solar heat, the gas water heater and double glazed windows, elacora homebuyers can expect to save about 20 percent per month on their electricity bills.”
Residents’ Club will delight Madeira homeowners
The new amenity Center—Residents’ Club—is being designed to delight Madeira’s homeowners. A spacious amenity center set to open in Spring 2015, will feature a clubhouse with fitness center, a large pool, surrounding deck and expansive outdoor gathering area including an adjacent party plaza.
“We are excited about the Residents’ Club,” said Robbins. “The Club’s design complements home styles in the community. A highlight of the design is the barrel tile roof with windows in the rooftop cupola to provide a steady stream of natural Florida sunlight. The Club’s interior social room and the nearby covered pavilion will invite many neighborhood gatherings.”
elacora’s Design Source Center helps homeowners select options
Barbara Ondo Designs is overseeing the interiors of the models and works with elacora’s Northeast Florida homebuyers at the elacora Design Source Center on Southpoint Boulevard to select options. The center features simulated kitchens and bathrooms showcasing all available fixtures, meeting rooms for consultations and a unique approach to displaying indoor and outdoor finishes. The Design Source Center offers homebuyers one-stop shopping and easy visual cues to design and personalize the company’s new homes.
The on-site sales team at Madeira, Brenda Harris and Chris Arsenault, is eager to introduce these new homes. They bring extensive experience introducing new homes to discriminating homebuyers. Harris has more than 12 years of experience in luxury home sales in Northeast Florida. During the course of her career, she has represented home builders in popular master-planned communities in Clay, Duval and St. Johns counties. Chris Arsenault brings a background in sales, customer relations, market research and technology to the sales team. He is working on a master’s degree in Urban Planning. As the son of Northeast Florida home builder, Lee Arsenault, owner of New Leaf Construction, Chris has grown up on construction sites and has a unique understanding of the many aspects of home building.
The Madeira community is sited on more than 1,000 acres of green space and its lush natural environment provides the perfect backdrop for the homes’ Mediterranean architectural characteristics notable in the arched windows and Tuscan hues of the homes.
Opportunities for new and innovative homes in this price range and location are limited. The community is conveniently located on U.S. 1 in northern St. Augustine and is minutes away from beautiful beaches and nature preserves. Convenient to Jacksonville and St. Augustine, Madeira is districted in the St. Johns County outstanding school system. The sales office is open daily 10 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Monday through Saturday and 1 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. on Sunday. For more information or to schedule an appointment to tour the community’s models, call (904) 484-9024 or visit www.elacora.com.
