February 24th, 2021 · Leave a Comment

Malnove, one of the nation’s largest independent folding carton producers, is expanding its Jacksonville plant to upgrade a production line and grow the facility’s capacity.

The $7.4 million expansion will create 10 new advanced manufacturing jobs and retain the 182 jobs at the company’s North Jacksonville facility. The Jacksonville City Council unanimously approved the economic development agreement in December.

Established in 1948, Malnove manufactures packaging products for a variety of customers, primarily in the packaged foods industry. Its Jacksonville facility is one of three sites, with the others in Utah and Nebraska.

Malnove, which opened its Jacksonville plant in 1981, is committed to growing its leaders from within and has a history of developing talent for future opportunities in the organization. Malnove has a strong collaborative workplace culture that focuses on a strong training and development program. The facility has five consecutive years of growth in revenue which is driving the expansion in capacity.
