Jacksonville Mayor Lenny Curry has announced a “Safer At Home” executive order mandating citizens stay in their homes except for critical and essential needs beginning Friday, April 3, at 12:01 am.
Essential functions include healthcare providers, grocery stores, gas stations, financial institutions, daycares, hardware stores, laundromats, restaurants (for takeout & delivery), and more.

“I know that this is a major decision that will have major impacts on the lives of citizens throughout Jacksonville,” said Mayor Curry. “But my top priority as mayor is YOUR health and safety.”
