Construction is underway on a road improvement project that will soon bring a new roundabout intersection to State Road 13 in front of the RiverTown community, St. Johns County’s only riverfront master-planned community.

The circular intersection at SR 13 and RiverTown Boulevard is part of the planned new main entrance of the RiverTown community and will provide a pedestrian friendly connection from the community to the more than 50-acre Riverfront Park.

“The new roundabout will make it easier to enter and exit the community,” said RiverTown Director of Development Christian Kuhn. “The completion of this project will provide safe pedestrian crossing from the community to Riverfront Park and create an inviting entrance.”
