Nikki Haley Opens Florida Forum Speaker Series

Nikki Haley, former United Nations Ambassador (2017-2019), recently shared career insights during an appearance at the Florida Forum Speaker Series, produced by The Women’s Board of Wolfson Children’s Hospital.

Haley served as the 29th U.S. ambassador to the U.N., where she introduced reforms with the goal of making the organization more efficient, transparent, and accountable. She also served as the Governor of South Carolina from 2011-2017. Under her leadership, South Carolina was a national leader in economic development.

The Florida Forum Speaker Series continues with Presidential Historian and Pulitzer Prize-winning Author Jon Meacham on Jan 22, and Hall of Fame wide receiver and three-time Super Bowl champion Jerry Rice on Feb. 25. Both programs begin at 7 p.m. the Times-Union Center for the Performing Arts.

Tickets begin at $150 each for general seating; $200 each for preferred seating; $567 for two reserved Bronze seating tickets; $1,417 for two reserved Silver seating tickets and invitations to the private receptions honoring the speakers and $2,833 for four reserved Gold seating tickets with private reception invitations. Patrons age 30 and under may purchase the series for $100.
