Nominations are being accepted from the North Florida District Council of the Urban Land Institute (ULI) for the 2015 Awards for Excellence and are due by Aug. 31. The district includes Jacksonville, St. Augustine, Gainesville, Tallahassee, Panama City and Pensacola.
The award categories are: New Development, Government/Open Space/Non-Profit, Downtown, ReUse/RePurpose, and Interior. For eligibility requirements and submission guidelines, click here. Past recipients of the aware include: Visionary Leader: John Delaney, Preston Haskell and Peter Rummell; Private: CSX 550 Water Street, Black Sheep Restaurant and Mellow Mushroom; Downtown: San Marco Place, Gaines Street and New Town Success Zone; Public/Open Space: Riverside Arts Market, UNF Student Center and Cascades Park; Reuse/Repurpose: The John Gorrie a Condominium and St. Augustine Ice Plant.
