Sisler Johnston Interior Design Completes ICI Homes’ Lucca Model at Siena at Town Center

February 19th, 2015 · Leave a Comment

Sisler Johnston Interior Design recently completed the interior design of the Lucca model by ICI Homes at Nocatee’s Town Center. The firm has a long history of designing for ICI Homes.

“ICI Homes’ Siena at Town Center is a gorgeous community offering beautiful homes with a Mediterranean flair and a convenient location within walking distance of Nocatee’s Town Center and world-class recreational amenities,” said Judith Sisler Johnston, president of Sisler Johnston Interior Design and allied member, ASID. “The Lucca is an extremely livable home that showcases the exceptional design quality and architectural style of ICI Homes.”

The Lucca is a two-story, single-family home with four bedrooms and three-and-a-half baths. Sisler Johnston selected a palette with soothing environmental colors including grass, goldenrod and aqua to contrast with the contemporary and coastal style furnishings that deliver everyday comfort and elegance. The home opens into a grand two-story foyer and flows into a spectacular two-story gathering room. The spacious gourmet kitchen has a large island with a seating area, staggered designer cabinetry, granite countertops and stainless steel appliances. The dining room overlooks the covered lanai, which features an outdoor dining area and summer kitchen, and the study is designed for relaxation and serenity.

The owner’s suite and luxurious master bath offer the homeowner a private retreat. The second floor features three bedrooms and a game room. The two children’s rooms are designed with a sports theme and surfing style. The Lucca model also includes an optional casita over the garage designed as a guest apartment.

The Lucca is one of numerous home designs available at Siena at Town Center. Homes range in size from 1,600 square feet to 3,000 square feet and feature Mediterranean or Tuscan-style elevations. The neighborhood is within walking distance of the Nocatee Town Center retailers and Nocatee’s recreational amenities including Splash Water Park, Fitness Club and Community Park.

February 18th, 2015 · Leave a Comment

ICI Homes of Tamaya has selected the architect and interior designer for its $11 million amenity center at the Mediterranean-style, master-planned community located on Beach Boulevard between Downtown Jacksonville and the Beaches. The architectural firm is Ervin Lovett Miller of Jacksonville and the interior designer is Ansana Interior Design of Orlando.

The 10,000-square-foot clubhouse, pools, and outdoor recreation areas, including tennis and an event lawn, are planned to include nearly 4,500 square feet of fitness space inside of the clubhouse. Site work is underway and construction of the amenity center is scheduled to begin in the spring with completion anticipated in 2016.

“The amenity center is the physical and recreational centerpiece of this remarkable community,” said David Haas, chief development officer at ICI Homes of Tamaya. “ELM and Ansana are two of the most respected design firms in the country. They are creating a design that provides special surroundings for the residents of Tamaya.”

Haas and other company leaders are seeking to build on the community’s tremendous success. Since opening for sales, developers have exceeded goals and the first, 169-home neighborhood, Bella Nina, is more than 50 percent sold. Site work is underway on Tamaya’s next, 146-home neighborhood, Bella Nika, with new model and home construction anticipated to begin in early 2016. Site work is also underway on a new, grand entrance to Tamaya fronting Beach Boulevard and entry roads leading to a two-story gatehouse that visitors will pass through to enter the neighborhoods.

Cedar Bay is all about location, location, location!

February 16th, 2015 · Leave a Comment

Riverfront homes are ready for move-in at Cedar Bay

When developers first created the North Jacksonville community of Cedar Bay, they knew the neighborhood’s proximity to regional military bases, the convenience to Downtown Jacksonville and area businesses, and the strength of area schools would be strong draws for homebuyers. Cedar Bay just welcomed its 140th family, and growth and in the North Jacksonville region surrounding the neighborhood continues to increase.
Cedar Bay is located only one mile from Interstate-295, which provides a short drive to Interstates 95 and 10, giving residents access in minutes to nearly every section of the Jacksonville area. The Jacksonville International Airport is approximately five minutes from Cedar Bay, the drive time to downtown is 15 minutes or less and residents can be at area beaches in less than a half hour. The nearly 900,000-square-foot River City Marketplace currently has 12 national anchor stores and is a celebrated shopping destination. In addition to an amazing selection of eateries, shops and boutiques, it features a 14-screen cinema. The adjacent Parkway Shops has additional anchor stores, restaurants and shops. In addition, Cedar Bay is just a short distance away from a number of popular entertainment options, including the Jacksonville Zoo and Gardens, Everbank Stadium and downtown event venues. Residents are close to many of the city’s top business parks, and the new UF Health North Hospital and nearby medical park will provide residents with convenient access to health care.

“Not only are Cedar Bay residents getting amazing homes for an incredible price, with unparalleled river views, they are also living in one of the fastest growing areas of the city,” said Margaret Jennesse, president of GreenPointe Homes’ East Florida Division. “One of the most exciting developments is the new hospital, which is located three miles from Cedar Bay. Our Cedar Bay buyers continue to tell us that they were drawn to this special neighborhood by its welcoming atmosphere and also for how convenient it is to so many different aspects of Jacksonville.”

Currently, GreenPointe Homes has move-in ready homes on the scenic Broward River. Buyers can also purchase one of the few remaining river-view lots and select from GreenPointe Homes’ award-winning floorplans. Home and lot packages begin in the mid-$180,000s.

“One of the best things about Cedar Bay is the opportunity to buy or build a home on the river for an incredible price,” said Vicki Bratvold, president of GreenPointe Realty. “We have limited availability, so I would encourage buyers to schedule a visit to see what this community is all about. Our residents love where they live!”
