Prudential Network Realty Giving Back and Making Holidays More Special for Children and Families

December 14th, 2012 · Leave a Comment

Prudential Network Realty is as serious about giving back to the community as it is dedicated to supporting the real estate needs of communities across the First Coast. As part of this mission, the team at the Avondale and San Marco branch offices are lending their support to Holiday Helpers, a nonprofit organization committed to making the holidays special for children directly affected by or infected with HIV or AIDS. Prudential Network Realty purchased holiday gifts for several children attending the organization’s holiday party.

“The charitable outreach performed by Holiday Helpers is truly inspirational,” said Prudential Network Realty Broker/Manager Sheron Willson. “Last year, Holiday Helpers served more than 400 children. The organization’s mission to make the holidays special for all children resonates with us and we are honored to support their efforts.”

At Prudential Network Realty’s Fleming Island office, the team is also helping make the holiday season a little brighter for Northeast Florida children and families by supporting the Salvation Army’s annual red kettle campaign.

More than 20 team members are serving as volunteer bell-ringers this year, spreading the hope of the holiday season and collecting donations for the less fortunate in front of several locations in Fleming Island and Clay County, including Walmart in Fleming Island. Realtor Karen Wentz initiated the company’s participation in the project. This is the third year team members have served as bell-ringing volunteers.

“This is a wonderful way for our team to come together and celebrate the holidays while doing something positive that touches others’ lives,” said Prudential Network Realty Broker/Manager Rebecca Stoneback of the Fleming Island branch office. “We are proud to support the important work of the Salvation Army.”

The red kettle campaign runs through Christmas Eve and helps the Salvation Army aid families by providing food, shelter, clothing and other services to those in need during the holiday season and throughout the year.

We appreciate Prudential Network Realty’s philanthropic involvement to help make a difference in our communities.
