Jacksonville entrepreneurs will have the opportunity to pitch ABC’s “Shark Tank” next week.
The show is hosting a casting call in Jacksonville at 10 a.m. July 9 at the Jacksonville Urban League.
On a first come, first serve basis, companies could be selected to pitch their businesses to the casting team for “Shark Tank.” The program occasionally features entrepreneurs who have a good idea, but the majority of those appearing on the show display traction through user acquisition, sales and intellectual property protection.
The pitching event is sponsored by “Shark Tank, Values Partnerships and Jacksonville partners. Values Partnerships is working with “Shark Tank” and partners to support entrepreneurship and bring more diverse ideas and voices to the show.
