For the seventh consecutive year Stellar has won the Associated Builders & Contractors (ABC) Florida First Coast Chapter Awards for Excellence in Construction (EIC). Stellar was honored with three Pyramid Awards and the esteemed Eagle Award.

Stellar achieved the highest honor, the Eagle Award, for constructing the bestbet gaming facility in St. Augustine, Florida. The 40,673-square-foot facility features a traditional poker cardroom as well as a simulcast area with real-time horse racing and multiple dining choices, including a full-service kitchen, sushi bar and sports bar. Located on eight acres near I-95 and SR 207 in St. Johns County, the facility blends gaming with natural surroundings and parking for over 457 visitors.

“Our consecutive wins at the ABC Awards for Excellence in Construction reaffirm our unwavering commitment to delivering top-tier projects,” said Scott Wright, Stellar’s Project Manager for the bestbet project. “These awards celebrate our dedication to industry-leading practices and innovation in construction, reinforcing our standing as global leaders. We take pride in consistently surpassing the limits of excellence and setting new industry benchmarks.”

Stellar also won three Pyramid Awards, including one for its design and construction of the Swift Prepared Foods meat processing facility in Columbia, Missouri. The Italian meats and charcuterie plant features advanced technology to process frozen raw product through distinct units for processing, drying, fermenting and packaging, all managed by automated guided vehicles. It also includes a state-of-the-art research and development plant, a show kitchen, employee welfare areas and an Italian cafe-inspired customer zone.

The second Pyramid Award went to the Marine Corps Exchange (MCX) Hawaii restoration project in Kaneohe Bay, Hawaii. Renovations included the main entrance and veranda, with enhancements such as fresh paint, signage, tile work, storefront systems and more. The Stellar team enabled the MCX to continuously operate throughout the renovation process.

Stellar received a third Pyramid Award for its work on the University of North Florida’s arena donor suite in Jacksonville, Florida. The work included upgraded amenities and advanced seating, operable glass walls and a court-view mezzanine.

The Florida First Coast Chapter of ABC serves contractors, subcontractors, suppliers, and associates across Baker, Bradford, Clay, Columbia, Duval, Flagler, Hamilton, Nassau, Putnam, St. Johns and Union counties.

Award-winning projects are now eligible for the National ABC Excellence in Construction competition, which evaluates projects for project safety, quality control, schedule adherence, innovative productivity, successful navigation of project challenges and other relevant factors.
