The John Gorrie a condominium, one of Jacksonville's premier condo communities, is offering homebuyers yet another reason as to why it's the perfect place to call home. The historically renovated school building has been granted a 10-year tax abatement towards the city portion of each homeowner's tax bill. This translates into approximately a 50 percent reduction in the resident’s real estate taxes for 2012, which equates to a range of $1,000 to $2,300 in savings for properties at The John Gorrie.
